Sequesco Solution Capturing Carbon Dioxide to Fuel the World

The amazing technological and economic progress achieved in the past 100 years has largely been fueled by hydrocarbons. However the sustainability of this progress is now coming into question, both due to the rise in greenhouses gases caused by hydrocarbon combustion and the predicted depletion of fossil hydrocarbon sources.

Sequesco's goal is to develop technologies which help enable hydrocarbons to continue fueling human progress, while alleviating the problems of greenhouse gas emissions, growing geological scarcity, and the drawbacks of agriculturally produced biofuels. Our guiding principle is to use microbes as master chemists in sustainable systems that serve the dual role of sequestering carbon dioxide and producing transportation fuels.


 
 
Our technology will lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and increased production of biofuel in a way that does not compete with food crops, does not require arable land, and has huge potential to scale to meet the world's growing energy needs.
